Me and two friends of mine, Gea and Cleo, are chatting sitting on the sofa. The slave calls us from upstairs but we ignore him. He goes down the stairs and appears over our heads. But what does this fool want? He's doing some housework and asks us if we can hand him the flashlight. We reply that it is right there in front of his eyes and that he can arrange to take it since it has disturbed us. He tries and reaches through the railing but gets stuck. We try to help him but nothing got stuck. We think that this apparently dramatic situation can actually be very funny like in that Italian film…. Laughing, we begin to slap him. We hit him so badly that he is afraid his face has swelled up and it will be even more difficult to get him out of there. We don't care, on the contrary it's getting late for our aperitif... we leave him there, stuck in the railing, with a sore face and the flashlight in hand...

INCASTRATO E SCHIAFFEGGIATO

Io e le mie amiche Gea e Cleo, stiamo chiacchierando sedute sul divano. Lo schiavo ci chiama dal piano di sopra ma lo ignoriamo. Scende le scale e appare sopra le nostre teste. Ma che vuole questo imbecille? Sta facendo dei lavoretti domestici e ci chiede se possiamo passargli la pila. Gli rispondiamo che è proprio lì davanti ai suoi occhi e che si può arrangiare a prenderla dato che ci ha disturbate. Ci prova e allunga il braccio attraverso la ringhiera ma rimane incastrato. Proviamo ad aiutarlo ma nulla è rimasto incastrato. Pensiamo che questa situazione apparentemente drammatica può essere in realtà molto divertente come in quel film italiano…. Ridendo, iniziamo a prenderlo a schiaffi. Lo colpiamo talmente tanto che ha paura la sua faccia si sia gonfiata e che sarà ancor più difficile toglierlo da lì. Non ci interessa, anzi si sta facendo tardi per il nostro aperitivo… lo lasciamo lì, incastrato nella ringhiera, con la faccia dolorante e la pila in mano…
